Adena Cahill is a 15-year-old aspiring author and musical theatre lover, proud to say that she’s from Paradise. She’s an eco-friendly gal who adores peppermint, pomegranate tea, and her cat, and she just took part in the Peter MacDonald Productions bi-annual musical, “Scrooge.” Adena is anticipating the release of Bloodhound by favorite author Tamora Pierce and The Shadow Dragon by James A. Owen, but filling her waiting hours by making her “Books Wanted” list longer and longer and longer.
Becky Fleming is from Portugal Cove-St. Philips, is 15 years old, and has been writing ever since she could remember. She admires the works of Salinger, J. M. Barrie, and Dante, to name a few. Besides writing, her life revolves around music. Whether she’s just listening or playing, there’s nothing she’d rather spend her time doing.
Katie Fleming is a 16-year-old aspiring poet. She enjoys music, hanging with her friends, and reading. Her favourite author is Stephenie Meyer, but L. J. Smith is very close behind her.
Jacquelyn Redmond is 14 and lives in St. John’s. She has a very vivid imagination and loves to read and write.
Erin Vance is a 16-year-old from Middle Cove with a love for words–any words. She lives with five people and four dogs in the smallest house on her street. She admits to favouring fictional characters over real ones (especially boys) and prays for a GREEN Christmas.
Lisa White is an aspiring writer in her senior year at Holy Spirit High School in Manuels. Writing has been a hobby for her for about six years now and she claims to be nowhere close to finished. She enjoys classical, jazz, and rock music, chocolate truffles, and curling up on Sunday afternoons with a good book.
